This guide will help you integrate JudgeMe for reviews with your Reactiv Mobile App. JudgeMe is a powerful tool for collecting and showcasing customer reviews to enhance user trust and engagement within your app.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the JudgeMe integration, ensure the following:
You have an active JudgeMe account with access to the Store Domain, Public Key & Private Key
You are signed up for a Reactiv Plan.
Your Reactiv Mobile App is already set up and functioning.
Step 1: Access the Integrations Page
Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, locate Reactiv - Mobile App Builder under the "Sales channels" section.
Click on Reactiv - Mobile App Builder to open the Reactiv dashboard.
Select Integrations from the sidebar.
Step 2: Locate JudgeMe
On the Integrations page, use the search bar or scroll to find JudgeMe under the "Review" category.
Click the Connect button next to JudgeMe to access the integration settings.

Step 3: Connect JudgeMe to Your Mobile App
In the JudgeMe integration popup, you will see a fields for the Store Domain, Publis Key & Private Key.
Obtain the necessary details for these fields (steps in the below green callout box)
Paste the details into their respective fields in the Reactiv integration popup.
Where to find your Store Domain in JudgeMe
Step 1: Log in to Judge.me Admin
Go to the Judge.me Admin page and sign in using your store credentials (you may log in through Shopify, BigCommerce, or other platforms integrated with Judge.me).
Step 2: Access Judge.me Settings
Once logged in, navigate to the Settings section on the dashboard sidebar.
Step 3: Locate Your Store Domain
In the Settings menu, look for General Settings or Integrations (depending on your platform).
Under the General Settings, your Store Domain will typically be listed as part of your store's information (e.g.,
mystore.myshopify.com
if you're using Shopify).
Step 4: Copy the Store Domain
Your Store Domain is the unique web address associated with your store, often in the format
yourstorename.myshopify.com
for Shopify or a similar structure for other eCommerce platforms.Copy this Store Domain if needed for any integration or external system setup.
Where to find your Public Key in JudgeMe
Step 1: Log in to Judge.me Admin
Go to the Judge.me Admin page and sign in using your store credentials (you may log in via Shopify, BigCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms integrated with Judge.me).
Step 2: Navigate to Judge.me Settings
Once logged in, look for the Settings section in the left-hand menu of the dashboard.
Within the Settings section, find the Integrations or API tab.
Step 3: Find the Public Key
In the Integrations or API tab, you should see your Public API Key and Private API Key listed (if API access is enabled for your account).
The Public Key is typically used for front-end integrations and should be labeled accordingly.
Step 4: Copy the Public Key
Once you locate the Public Key, copy it for use in integrating Judge.me with your website or app.
Step 5: Contact Support (if needed)
If you cannot find the Public Key or do not have API access enabled, you can contact Judge.me support for assistance.
Where to find your Private Key in JudgeMe
Step 1: Log in to Judge.me Admin
Go to the Judge.me Admin page and sign in using your store credentials (you may log in via Shopify, BigCommerce, or other eCommerce platforms integrated with Judge.me).
Step 2: Navigate to Judge.me Settings
Once logged in, look for the Settings section in the left-hand menu of the dashboard.
Within the Settings section, find the Integrations or API tab.
Step 3: Access API Keys
In the Integrations or API section, you should see your API keys listed.
Look for the Private API Key. It will typically be listed next to the Public API Key.
Step 4: Copy the Private Key
Once you locate the Private API Key, copy it securely.
The Private Key is used for back-end integrations and should not be shared publicly, as it is a sensitive credential for accessing Judge.meโs API.
Step 5: Contact Support (if needed)
If you're unable to find the Private Key or don't have access to the API, contact Judge.me support for assistance. They can guide you in enabling API access and retrieving your key.
Step 4: Save the Integration
After entering your details, click the Connect/Update button to save the integration.
Once saved, JudgeMe will be connected to Reactiv.
Step 5: Verify the Integration
Return to the Studio and Preview your mobile app to confirm that the reviews are displaying as expected.
If any issues arise, recheck the JudgeMe settings make sure to Save the settings correctly.
Limitations
Media Support: The current integration supports text-based reviews only. Images and videos are not supported within the Reactiv Mobile App.
Customization: Review display options may be limited to the default settings provided by the JudgeMe integration.
Troubleshooting
Invalid User ID: Ensure that you have correctly copied the User ID from your JudgeMe account.
Reviews Not Displaying: Confirm that the integration was successfully updated and check for any necessary configurations within the JudgeMe dashboard.
