This guide will help you integrate Okendo for reviews with your Reactiv Mobile App. Okendo is a powerful tool for collecting and showcasing customer reviews to enhance user trust and engagement within your app.
Prerequisites
Before setting up the Okendo integration, ensure the following:
You have an active Okendo account with access to the User ID.
You are signed up for a Reactiv Plan.
Your Reactiv Mobile App is already set up and functioning.
Step 1: Access the Integrations Page
Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.
In the left-hand menu, locate Reactiv - Mobile App Builder under the "Sales channels" section.
Click on Reactiv - Mobile App Builder to open the Reactiv dashboard.
Select Integrations from the sidebar.
Step 2: Locate Okendo
On the Integrations page, use the search bar or scroll to find Okendo under the "Review" category.
Click the Connect button next to Okendo to access the integration settings.
Step 3: Connect Okendo to Your Mobile App
In the Okendo integration popup, you will see a field for the User ID.
Obtain your User ID (steps in the below green callout box)
Paste the User ID into the User id field in the Reactiv integration popup.
Obtaining your User ID from Okendo
Step 1: Log In to Okendo
Go to the Okendo login page.
Sign in with your Okendo admin credentials.
Step 2: Navigate to the User Management Section
Once logged in, click on your account name or profile icon at the top-right corner of the dashboard.
Go to Account Settings or look for a section like Users or Team Members, depending on how Okendo’s interface is structured for your account.
Step 3: Find Your User ID
In the Users or Team Members section, you should see a list of users associated with your Okendo account.
Your User ID (or unique identifier) may be visible next to your name or profile in this list.
If not, click on your profile or username to access more details, where the User ID might be displayed in your user information.
Step 4: Contact Okendo Support (if needed)
If you are unable to find your User ID or need further assistance, you can reach out to Okendo's support team. They can help guide you to the specific user details you are looking for.
Step 4: Save the Integration
After entering your App Key, click the Connect/Update button to save the integration.
Once saved, Okendo will be connected to Reactiv.
Step 5: Verify the Integration
Return to the Studio and Preview your mobile app to confirm that the reviews are displaying as expected.
If any issues arise, recheck the Okendo settings make sure to Save the settings correctly.
Limitations
Media Support: The current integration supports text-based reviews only. Images and videos are not supported within the Reactiv Mobile App.
Customization: Review display options may be limited to the default settings provided by the Okendo integration.
Troubleshooting
Invalid User ID: Ensure that you have correctly copied the User ID from your Okendo account.
Reviews Not Displaying: Confirm that the integration was successfully updated and check for any necessary configurations within the Okendo dashboard.
