Step by step guide to integrate Klaviyo marketing platform with Reactiv

Introduction

Klaviyo is a powerful tool for email marketing and automation, allowing you to track user events, send targeted push notifications, and manage email campaigns. Integrating Klaviyo with your Reactiv mobile app enhances your marketing efforts and customer engagement. Follow the steps below to set up Klaviyo integration in your Reactiv mobile app.

Prerequisites

Before you start, ensure you have:

  • A Klaviyo account.

  • Klaviyo Public API Key.

  • Klaviyo Private API Key.

  • Klaviyo Registered Company Name.

  • Administrative access to the Reactiv dashboard.

Steps to Set Up Klaviyo Integration

1. Access the Reactiv Dashboard

Log in to your Reactiv dashboard using your Shopify admin dashboard.

2. Navigate to Integrations

From the main menu, go to the the 'Integrations' tab to view available integrations.

3. Enable Klaviyo Integration

Find the Klaviyo integration option in the list and toggle the switch to enable it.

4. Enter Klaviyo Credentials

You will be prompted to enter the following Klaviyo credentials:

  • Klaviyo Public Key: This key publicly identifies your account.

  • Klaviyo Private Key: This key ensures secure communication between Reactiv and Klaviyo.

  • Klaviyo Registered Company Name: The name registered with Klaviyo to ensure the correct account linkage.

To find these credentials:

  1. Klaviyo Public Key:

    • Log in to your Klaviyo account.

    • Navigate to 'Account' > 'Settings' > 'API Keys'.

    • Create a new Public Key or Copy your public API key.

  2. Klaviyo Registered Company Name:

    • This can be found in your Klaviyo account settings under 'Account' > 'Settings' > 'Public API Key'.

  3. Klaviyo Private Key:

    • In the same 'API Keys' section, create a new private API key with following permissions.

      • Full Access to: Accounts, Campaigns, Catalogs, Conversations, Coupon Codes, Coupons, Data Privacy, Events, Flows, Images, List, Metrics, Profiles, Push Tokens, Segments, Subscriptions, Tags, Templates, and Webhooks

Paste these credentials into the corresponding fields in the Reactiv dashboard.

5. Save Settings

After entering all the necessary information and configuring the integration, click the 'Connect' button to apply your settings.

8. Publish the app

Publish the app in order to reflect the Klaviyo integration on the latest version of your app.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues during the setup process, consider the following:

  • Double-check the API keys and company name for accuracy.

  • Ensure your Klaviyo account is active and has the necessary permissions.
