Introduction

Enhance your Reactiv mobile app by integrating Loyalty Lion, a powerful loyalty and rewards platform. This guide will walk you through the setup process to offer your customers loyalty points, rewards, and more within your app.

Prerequisites

1. Reactiv Account: Ensure you have an active Reactiv account.

2. Loyalty Lion Account: Set up a Loyalty Lion account and configure your loyalty program. API integration with Loyalty Lion is available to Advanced and/or Plus Tier customers, please ensure you have this configured.

3. Contact Loyalty Lion Support to Enable the API: Contact [email protected] to get the API enabled for your store.

Step-by-Step Setup

Access the Integration Settings

  1. Log in to your Reactiv dashboard.

  2. Navigate to the Integrations page.

Enable Loyalty Lion Integration

  1. In the Integrations page, find Loyalty Lion under Loyalty section.

  2. Click on the Connect button to start the setup.

Enter Loyalty Lion API Credentials

  1. After enabling the integration, you will be prompted to enter your Loyalty Lion API credentials.

  2. API Key: Obtain this from your Loyalty Lion dashboard by following the steps below.

  3. Enter these credentials in the provided fields and click Save.

How to Find your API Token & Secret in LoyaltyLion

Step 1: Log in to LoyaltyLion Admin

  1. Go to the LoyaltyLion Admin page and sign in using your store credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Integrations Section

  1. Once logged in, go to Manage -> API Keys -> Create API Key.

Step 3: Access API Keys

  1. Select the following scopes:

  • read_customers

  • write_customers

  • read_orders

Step 4: Copy Your API Key

  1. Click on Create, copy the API key and set it in the Loyalty Lion integration in the Reactiv dashboard. Don't forget to Save.

Step 5: Store API Credentials Safely

  1. Ensure the API key is stored securely and not shared publicly, as they allow access to your LoyaltyLion data and functionalities.

Step 6: Contact LoyaltyLion Support (if needed)

  • If you're having trouble finding the API keys, you can reach out to LoyaltyLion support for further assistance.

Enable Loyalty Points and Tier

Once your API credentials are validated, you'll be able to configure how loyalty details will be displayed in your app. Enable the loyalty points within your Reactiv app under the Account screen settings.

  1. Open the Reactiv dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Studio > Account > Settings

  3. Enable the Loyalty points and Tier section in the account overview section.

Save and Preview your changes

  1. Click on the Preview button in the header of the dashboard.

  2. Follow the steps to preview your app in a real mobile app.

Test Your Integration

- Before publishing your app update, thoroughly test the Loyalty Lion integration in the preview app.

- Ensure that points are being accrued and displayed correctly, rewards are redeemable.
