Setting up a Bold Subscriptions Integration

Learn how to connect your Bold Subscriptions account to Reactiv. Once connected, Reactiv automatically syncs subscription data to personalize your customer engagement.

Before You Start

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have the following:

  • Bold Subscriptions app installed on your Shopify store.

  • A Bold Account Center account linked to your Shopify store.

  • An API access token from Bold with the required permissions.

If you haven’t created a Bold Account Center account yet, follow Bold’s guide here.


Step 1: Generate Your Bold API Access Token

  1. Log in to your Bold Account Center.

  2. Navigate to Developers → API Access.

  3. Follow Bold’s Quick Start guide to create a new API access token.

  4. Make sure to grant all scopes required for subscription data access

📝 Copy your API access token — you’ll need it for the next step.


Step 2: Connect Bold Subscriptions in Reactiv

  1. In your Reactiv Dashboard, go to Integrations.

  2. Find Bold Subscriptions and click Install.

  3. Paste your API access token in the field provided.

  4. Click Connect to complete the setup.

Once connected, Reactiv will automatically sync your subscription data from Bold. You’ll be able to use subscription status and history in your Reactiv campaigns and automations.


📝 Make sure you click Save and Publish, and verify your integration.


Troubleshooting

If your connection fails:

  • Double-check that your API token is valid and has the correct scopes.

  • Confirm your Shopify store is linked to your Bold Account Center.

  • Try reconnecting the integration in Reactiv.
