Understanding the Insights Dashboard

In this guide, you’ll learn how to access and navigate the Reactiv Insights Dashboard to monitor your app’s performance. From tracking sales and orders to analyzing clip engagement and retention, this dashboard gives you the insights you need to grow your mobile app’s impact on your Shopify store.


How to Access the Insights Dashboard

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.

  2. In the left-hand sidebar, go to Sales Channels.

  3. Click Reactiv – Mobile App Builder.

  4. Select Analytics.

  5. You’ll see two tabs at the top of the screen:

    • Overview (selected by default)

    • Third Party Reports


Date Selector

By default, the dashboard shows data from the past 30 days. You can adjust this by using the date selector at the top of the page to choose a different date range that fits your needs. Report data refreshes automatically every 24 hours.

🔍 Summary Metrics (Top Row)

At the top of the screen, you’ll see the following key performance indicators:

  • Total Reactiv Sales – Total revenue generated from your app.

  • Reactiv Sales of Total Sales – The app’s contribution as a percentage of total store sales.

  • Total Reactiv Orders – Total number of orders placed via your app.

  • Reactiv Cost Per Order – Average cost per order from the app.

  • Reactiv Customer LTV – Average lifetime value of customers acquired through the app.

📈 Daily Performance Charts

Daily Sales

  • Compares Reactiv Sales (blue) to Non-Reactiv Sales (gray).

  • Shows how much of your daily revenue is driven by the app.

  • A helpful percentage appears in the top-right corner for quick comparison.

Daily Orders

  • Breaks down order volume by source.

  • Use it to understand how Reactiv compares to other sales channels.

  • A low order count with high sales may suggest larger average order sizes.

👥 Engagement & Conversion Metrics

Average Order Value (AOV)

  • Tracks the average amount spent per Reactiv order.

  • A high AOV reflects stronger purchase intent and value.

App Installs

  • Monitors daily install volume—use this to measure adoption trends.

Active Users

  • Shows daily users browsing or buying through the app.

  • The daily average is shown for reference.

User Conversion

  • Calculates the percentage of users who made a purchase after opening the app.

  • Great for measuring how well your app content and offers convert visitors.

📊 Session & Retention Metrics

Daily Sessions

  • Tracks total user sessions in the app per day.

  • Indicates how often shoppers are engaging.

Daily Session Conversion

  • Measures how many sessions lead to a purchase.

  • Use this to evaluate your app’s buying experience and content strategy.

Retention Purchases

  • The monthly percentage of shoppers who return to make repeat purchases.

  • A strong retention rate = loyal customers.

Retention Visitors

  • Tracks returning visitors whether or not they buy.

  • Good for measuring ongoing app interest.

🛍️ Top Selling Products

  • A ranked list of the 10 most purchased items through the Reactiv app.

  • Use this list to spotlight top performers and plan promotions.

📎 Clips Performance

If you’re using Clips, your dashboard includes metrics specific to this feature:

  • Clip Sales: Total revenue and orders from clip-driven purchases.

  • Clip Average Order Value: AOV for orders that originated from Clips.

  • Clip Order Conversion: The percentage of clip viewers who placed an order.

  • Clip Notifications Opened: Daily count of opened clip-related push notifications.

  • Clip Users to App Users: How many notification viewers became app users.

  • Clip Session Conversion: How often Clip sessions result in a purchase.


🌐 Third Party Reports Tab

The Third Party Reports tab connects you to external analytics tools for deeper insights:

  • Klaviyo

  • Google Analytics (GA4)

  • Google Enhanced Conversions

  • Facebook Conversion API
