How to Access Metafield Settings

  1. Log in to your Shopify admin dashboard.
    ​

  2. In the left-hand sidebar, scroll to the Sales Channels section.
    ​

  3. Click Reactiv – Mobile App Builder, then select App Studio.
    ​

  4. Click your company logo at the top of the page and select App Settings.
    ​

  5. From the top menu, click Metafields.
    ​

Purpose of Metafields

Metafields let you display custom data (like material, fit, or booking links) on your mobile app product and collection pages. This allows for deeper merchandising and a more tailored shopping experience.

⚠️ Note: Only metafields exposed to the Shopify Storefront API can be used in the Reactiv app. Learn how to expose metafields to Reactiv.

Available Tabs

  • Product: Choose which product metafields you'd like to expose in your app.
    ​

  • Collection: Manage collection-specific metafields the same way.
    ​

How to Add Metafields to Reactiv

  1. Use the search or filter bar to find metafields by namespace or key.
    ​

  2. Select the checkbox next to each metafield you want to use in the app.
    ​

  3. Reactiv will automatically make these available for use in studio widgets and app screens.
